Praduman Jain

Chief Executive Officer

Praduman Jain, known to colleagues as “PJ,” is CEO and Founder of Vibrent Health and the Principal Investigator of the Participant Technology Systems Center of the National Institutes of Health’s All of Us Research Program. Under Jain’s leadership, the NIH awarded Vibrent $75 million in 2017 and an additional award in 2020, with initial first-year funding of $39 million, to build and manage a national platform for health research for one million people across the U.S. over the program’s expected span of 10 or more years. In 2020, Vibrent received more than $4 million in funds from NIH to build next-generation technology for COVID-19 screening, testing and contact tracing. Jain is also the Chair of the Security Board of the Committee on Access, Privacy & Security for the NIH All of Us Research Program; a member of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine’s Roundtable on Genomics and Precision Health; an invited external expert for eMERGE & Beyond, The Future of Electronic Medical Records and Genomics program of the Division of Genomic Medicine, National Human Genome Research Institute; and an external advisory board member for iTHRIVE – a Virginia Clinical and Translational Science Award. Prior to founding Vibrent, Jain held various senior leadership roles at Sprint, Nextel, AOL, Time Warner, and VTech and launched emerging products and services with revenues of more than $2 billion. He earned a Master of Science in electrical engineering, holds several patents and has authored several research publications.

Dave Klein

President

Dave focuses on products that sit at the intersection of technology, science and health. He leads a diverse set of functions including product management, data analytics, user experience design, user research, science communications and digital health programs. He is also a Principal Investigator of the National Institutes of Health’s Precision Medicine Initiative/All of Us Research Program, focusing on product innovation and product management. Prior to coming to Vibrent Health, Dave led the development of products that improve the lives of individuals and families at large companies such as Virgin Mobile, Nextel, Sprint, Time Warner Cable and innovative technology startups. He has a track record of being a thought leader and product innovator including bringing the first ever mobile video chat to market through a major US carrier (Sprint HTC Evo smartphone) and leading the first global consumer voice-over-IP product. Dave passionately believes in the power of technology to help people take control of their own health.

Jason Cao

Chief Architect

Jason graduated from the University of Maryland with a Master's Degree in Computer Science with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence. With many publications and patents under his name, Jason is well-versed in many of the latest IT technologies and considers himself a life-long student of technology more than anything else. Before joining Vibrent Health, for more than 15 years, he has designed, architected and implemented various software applications and systems ranging from state-of-art bio defense system for fortune 100 company to gaming application for startups with less than 10 employees. After joining Vibrent Health as the chief architect, Jason architected and designed the latest Vibrent’s Software as a Service (SaaS) Learning Health System which powers numerous fully customized health programs that study health contexts and disseminate advocacy, behavior, and clinical programs including the Precision Medicine Initiative (PMI)

Mark Begale

Vice President, Research Services

Mark identifies and nurtures new opportunities and collaborations with companies and organizations to form relationships between these entities and Vibrent Health for mutual benefit, in support Vibrent’s strategic vision and business outcomes. He has held leadership positions product partnerships and technology as director of products and chief technology officer for Center for Behavioral Intervention Technologies. He is also a Principal Investigator of the National Institutes of Health’s Precision Medicine Initiative/All of Us Research Program. He holds a degree from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Mark has a strong interest in precision medicine and is dedicated to his work at Vibrent because of his desire to help others.

Josh Schilling

Sr. Director, Hybrid & Digital Trials

Josh has more than 15 years of expertise in medical devices system design, product design, and development of both hardware and software solutions in the health industry. As a scientist and engineer, Josh is passionate about using sensors of all types from physiological personal health technology to environmental and passive sensing as a means to infer and improve the quality of life for everyone through solutions that anyone can afford.

Through ongoing engineering efforts, he has directly contributed to the continued improvement of Bluetooth technology while working with health device manufacturers and standards bodies, to improve the technology's usefulness within the medical community. Early in his career, he developed Pulse Oximeter hardware/firmware to measure oxygenated blood found on oxygen bound to hemoglobin molecules in red blood cells. Some of his achievements include authorship of papers accepted into the IEEE, poster presentations at ATA, and several pending patents.

Josh has contributed to technological and scientific advancements at organizations including ContinuaHealth Alliance, Bluetooth SIG, USB I/F, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and various societies within IEEE, Society of Behavioral Medicine (SBM), and American TelemedicineAssociation (ATA). Josh works with Vibrent’s medical partners to give back to the medical community by helping them adopt advancements and knowledge learned from Vibrent into their solutions while conforming to guidance set by international standards for medical devices (IEC 60601) and medical device software (IEC 62304).

Molly Maple Bryant

Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Molly Maple Bryant is a seasoned marketing leader who holds a passion for advancing the adoption of digital technology in research. She is responsible for defining and guiding the organization’s overall marketing and communications strategy, especially its digital channels, ensuring new and consistent business growth for the organization and enhancing brand awareness. Prior to joining Vibrent Health, Ms. Bryant oversaw the marketing organizations for ArcheMedX and Seller Labs, leading teams covering demand generation, digital marketing, content marketing, events, and advertising strategy. She also previously led product marketing for the life sciences division at Cognizant, launching products to a total addressable market of over $1B USD. She also oversaw the external marketing and launch of Cognizant Accelerator, the company’s incubator. Earlier in her career, Ms. Bryant also worked closely with big names in the life sciences industry, including AmerisourceBergen, McKesson, Pfizer, and Globus Medical, on various technical engagements. Bryant holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and has spent her entire career in high tech. She resides in the Charleston, SC area with her family.

James Camic

Vice President, Human Resources

Jim has over 25 years’ experience in human capital management. In his role at Vibrent Health, he oversees all aspects of our most valuable resource, the people that make Vibrent Health a leader in heath research technology. His team is responsible for talent acquisition, professional development, human capital management and partnering with the leadership team to shape the organizational culture. Prior to joining Vibrent, Jim served in the US Army, first in human intelligence collection and then as a career counselor. In the business sector, he has helped drive organizational culture, professional development and scale the business for organizations such as Amerigroup (an Anthem company), Personal Decisions International (a Korn Ferry company), SOC Telemed and Maag Group. While at SOC Telemed he stood up the HR function and helped take the company public. He holds an M.S. degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Old Dominion University.

George Uzzle

Chief Information Security Officer

A dedicated and result oriented security leader with over 30 years’ of experience in the Information Technology industry focusing on security and privacy risks. Proven design and operational expertise for securing large scale systems/applications and infrastructure for clients spanning US federal agencies and commercial entities such as hospitals, scientific/research communities, and cloud service providers. The diverse experience and expertise allow me to provide a strategic roadmap and operational leadership needed to counter the ever-evolving security risk of the Participant Technologies Systems Center (PTSC).
