Fairfax, Va., July 20, 2018 — U.S. Senator Tim Kaine (D-VA) today visited Vibrent Health, a Fairfax, Virginia-based health technology company for a tour of the company’s new office followed by a town hall session with Vibrent’s 140 employees.
“Studying and developing new technologies is critical to improving our health care system and expanding access to more Virginians. I’m looking forward to learning more about the work Vibrent Health is doing to modernize the industry as well as hearing from their employees on how the Senate can better support innovation in the health care space,” said Kaine.
As a member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP), Senator Kaine shared his perspective on the nation’s healthcare needs and how digital health plays a vital role in advancing access to quality care and empowering every individual to be in more control of their health goals.
“Senator Kaine taking time to come to Vibrent to learn about our ground-breaking work in Bio-Health innovation work is a testament to his dedication to helping to advance digital health research. The Senator continues to be supportive in helping to build the national capital area as the ‘Bio-Beltway,’ which is attracting top talent from many disciplines from around the country and the globe,” said Vibrent Health Founder and CEO, Praduman “PJ” Jain.
“Talk to me about health before you talk to me about healthcare”, Senator Kaine said. This philosophy of “Health before healthcare” is in full alignment with Vibrent’s approach to innovative health technology products.
